i have been looking at a bunch of brake catologs and im taking the power disc brakes from my 68 cougar and putting them on my 67 know ive been told that i will probably HAVE to put the power brake pedal from my 68 in my 67 does any body know if this is correct? or can i use which ever one i want to? and before any body ask yes theress a big diffrence the power pedal is longer and where the stud that mounts to the brake rod is is further down from the pivet stud any help would be good!

I can't say for sure but I would think that you would need to change out the pedal as well. I know that the SVO's had a different pedal due to the different brake set up (larger master cylinder, rear discs, larger from caliper pistons).
Why not just get a brake upgrade kit from SSB or Baer or something for the '67? My old 66 GT had front discs and did pretty good.

i converted from manual drum to power discs in my 67. i retained the original pedal.
