I think the 75mm is personally too big...
You need to work on your driving and get your 60ft's down...You should be able to get 2.0's with 275 street tires....If you atleast get your 60ft down a tenth you'd be in the 13.6s...
Do you power shift by Just keeping it floored the whole time?..

That's not that bad of a time. 60 ft. could use some work though. Maybe you should look into some drag radials or something. That would help

The 75mm TB is fine. Its not hurting anything and works good with the c&l plenum. Your car can run 13.5s or better with some DRs and good driving.

Is the 75 hurting his low end torque

those are decent times at sac with those mods. the 75 should be fine with the gears he has. if it was an auto with 3.27's it might hurt.

Nope not at all. The upper intake he has flows a lot more air then the stock and the 75mm TB takes advantage of it.

Just work on your driving and the time and mph will get better. How you are on your 2-3 shift really effects your mph. Practice shifting and getting off the clutch as fast as you can.

try and make your body move as fast as humanly possible on every shift...also shift RPM can affect this too, he might be shifting at a better RPM

Better driving I guess
would it be possible to get down to the low 13's with the additon of a timings adjuster, 85mm MAF, some drag radials and better driving ????

Its all about the driving. It doesn't matter if the 60fts are the same as yours. He ran faster because he is shifting his gears faster then you and he might be shifting at a different RPM also. With our cars you have to shift them between redline and 6k to take full advantage of the curve. When you shift at redline it will drop you back into your peak torque. What gear and what RPM are you going thru the traps?
