Topic: making funny sounds at around 2500 rpms and up???

it makes a weird ass sound thats not really a tapping and its hard to tell which area its coming from. It ran a little low on oil when my friend had it and then it started the noise. It almost sounds like a lifter or a roller rocker. anyone in sac area or citrus heights wanna come take a look??? 308-7479. Let me know if u got suggestions. Thanks.

I have the same problem with my engine. I went out and bought a new block because of it. The oil pressure is also weird. Now it is just shutting off while I drive for no reason. Must be air or fuel problem. I can't wait to put the new block in but I have a feeling it wont cure all the problems. Please let me know if you find out what is wrong....
