HCI Motorsports Short-Block Bored .20 Manley Billit Rods CP Pistons Dished 17cc New Forged Crank Total Seal File-to-Fit Rings Moroso 7qt oil pan New Ford Racing 11' Clutch Kit W/ new flywheel I also have Bassani exhust(mid-lenght headers, catted x-pipe and 2chamber flows) MSD Coil packs and wires. FMS 4.10 gears,Tri-AX shifter, BBK Clutch quadrant kit. My car is also lowered and has DR tires. With these things done to the car what do you think my quarter mile times will look like.

you didn't say what gears/tires you're going to run, but I would say low 13's, and mid 12's once you get the blower on there.

There 4.10gears and only mid 12's with 15lbs of boost with aftercooler?

Lets see..... 98 Cobra's with longtubes, off road pipe, Gears, & a K&N run high 12's/low 13's at 105-106mph. With 10lbs of boost they go 115+mph.
Cats will eat up a little power....On my car they cost me 4mph . Shouldn't be more then 2 on your setup though.
With the mods listed you should see high 11's at near 120mph.....IF you can hook decent & row the gears.

Wow, some of these posts are really wishful thinking. The 4.10's are going to hurt, more than help, as you will shifting before you build any serious boost. My guess? 12.70's...if you even hook up.

But won't his new set up be able to pull up to 7,500-7,800 RPMs? There should be plenty of room, especially if is going with the HCI intake.

In this case low 13's. I thought the motor was designed for NA

my 98 ran 13.4@106 with the following:
Bassani high flow x pipe Bassani cat back c&l meter w/k&n 4.10's aluminum ds and some shitty 275/40 18s <===== (2.19 60fts )
I think with proper driving, looooooow 13's should be NO problem for you. If I can hit 106 with the little I had done to my ride, I dont see why you couldn't hit that, if not slightly better. Slap on that vortech and I'm guessing 115-117 (on the high end).
I'll let you know how that goes in early april [ March 06, 2004, 09:12 PM: Message edited by: the50ho ]
