.. okay. i never had this problem come up before. around two weeks ago i started to feel my car shake. and to fix the problem i thought i needed a tune-up. so i changed my spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor and my whole car is still shaking... like shaking shaking.. if you were to stand in front of the engine you would see the engine shake. and when u seat in the car, you would feel the whole damn car shake....the shaking would only happen around 1000rpm to 2000rpm. anything after that or below it would feel fine. please let me know what you guys think.??
just to note: using 91gas engine mount looks good

does it shake more than it did "BEFORE" your 'tuneup'? Or does it shake less or the same?

...and about $65 from a Carquest. I would also check your firing order..you may have goofed it up when putting the wires back on.

Seri, go to the front of the engine and locate the middle pulley at the bottom of the engine...That is the crank pulley...Behind the crank pulley there is a larger wheel with timming marks or numbers on it...That is the harmonic balancer...With the engine off see if you can turn the harmonic balancer by hand, you should not be able to...You can also physically examine the hamonic balancer to see if the outer ring is seperating from the inner ring....
The reason the harmonic balancers go bad is the silicon/rubber holding the inner ring to the outer ring goes bad and the two seperate...
My 94 has been through 2 harmonic balancers, Hungryhippo's has been through 4.....It seems to be a large problems for 94-95 5.0's....

I would recheck the plug gaps and firing order.
I bet it needed new plugs/wires but when you installed the new ones you fucked it up somehow worse than before / no offence
And when you are 110% sure you got the firing order right....chances are you it's not. I was so sure one time that I REFUSED to re-check the firing order. Black94 5.0 came over and sure enough....

Firing order is, 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, COUNTERCLOCKWISE
At the front of the engine, plugs nearest the headlights, on the passenger side is your #1 then #2, #3, #4...#4 being at the back near the firewall...
At the front of the engine, on the drivers side is #5, #6, #7, #8..#8 being at the back near the firewall...
Have you even checked the harmonic balancer yet?

This car should not be driven anywhere (Hell, don't even start the motor!) until you figure out if it's the balancer, and get it replaced if it is. Serious engine damage could occur. It's not a hard job, but you SHOULD use the proper tools to remove AND install the new balancer. Mine ('95 GT) failed about 4 months ago. Dennis

I went and took a picture for you. Mine has an "Extra" belt on it for "something", but you should get the idea. The piece behind the pulley marked "This Piece". If you can move it at all, it's junk. Replace it,and REALLY, don't drive it.
