Topic: control arms.....is it worth it?

ive been thinking about buying some control arms from x2c , but is it worth it, can i really launch harder? and if i get them, can i put them on at my house with hand tools, and a jack?

to answer your question...i would say yes and no....will just control arms let you launch harder? well if you have POS tires then what for? also, there is a lot to be broken in the rear if not done right. just control arms..dunno man, but it will always be better than just stock

well as far as suspusion on my car gos is stock, and i have posi and run m/t streets (if i get non ajustible control arm how would it brake the rear end?)

The adjustability of the control arms will not do anything what will break the rear end. They will simply allow you to set your pinion angle and set preload if you wish. What WILL break your rear end it HARD launches which the control arms will help you achieve.
Regardless though if you are running even the STOCK rear suspension and a set of slicks your rearend is on borrowed time. [ February 24, 2004, 06:52 PM: Message edited by: Jeff S ]
