Transmission Dipstick is leaking.Does anybody have instructions on chaing it and or know a place where i can get this done quick?

pull it out and put silicon on the ridge that slides into the tranny.

And make sure the dipstick is clean of all oily residue before the silicon goes on

Or, you could just spend $.50 on an o-ring and not make a mess (and not fix the leak) with silicone... I am a Ford auto trans tech, and every time I have to clean up silicone from a dipstick tube, I want to shoot the MF that used it.

Haha well your certainly right. That would be the best method to fix it. Though most people usually opt for the quick fix

I dont know where your from but i think i have afew rings laying around you can have em if you still need em.
