Then the oil pressure drops but will go up when I press on the gas. I am thinking it is oil pump. Also I have a bad crank which makes me go through harmonic balancers every other year. Now I have a knocking sound. I think it is time for a new short block with an oil pump. There is one online; 302 306 short block for 900 something dollars. Will this be an easy trade. Also I have the Eddle Brock II upper and lower intake which is suppose to add some horse power but will this be ok with the 306? Please I need help. It's normal for the oil pressure to drop after the motor gets warm. Then when you step on the gas it goes right back up.
