Any recommendation for better traction and cornering. Whats the widest tire i can put on 18x9's... im not looking for drag radials, ill put those on my 17's... just need tires for good hook up on the street and not too expensive. thanx

285/35/18 REARS
I recommend the Nitto NT555 for the price and the higher tread wear compared to others.

How much do those tires usually go for?? with the 285s will it rub??

You will be fine, i had some 285/35zr18's on the back for a while.
Les Schwab has a "no name" brand called Ventus, looks similar to a BF Goodrich tread style. you can pick up some 285/35's for about 135-145 a piece, and you will still get good wear outta them.
