I pulled out the fuel pump from my 94 GT and discovered it was a Walbro. I guess the previous owner had installed it. It's not like the new ones that have a black top with a squared port, it has a white top, like in the pic below. It says: Walbro F83U-9350-AA AOF326 21500-2B PAT NO 4500270
Does anyone know what LPH rating this is? Also, is there suppose to be a little rattle, like a spray can, when I move it up and down? [ February 02, 2004, 08:22 PM: Message edited by: Yung Than ]

Well, it's got a 1988 Ford part number. So I'd assume it's probably OEM and not a high performance part. I think the stock pumps flow 190 Litres Per Hour.

190 LPH from a stock pump? I think they're more like 89 lph or something.

Factory Ford pumps are made by Walbro. Sounds like you've got a factory 88lph fuel pump there.

Looks like a factory pump. The male electrical connections on the pump are same as factory. These fuel pumps have a check valve. You would hear a slight movement when the pump is turned upside down. Basically this check valve keeps the fuel in the line and does not allow it to return to the tank when the pump isn't running. Keep in mind I said "slight" sound. If you doubt the operation of the pump run two leads from a battery to in and watch it flow.

Notice I said "I think". Guess I thunked wrong. I tried searching for the actual flow rating, but got lazy.
