this is a long shot but
can i use the stock mustang electronics to run the distributor and timing
and use a carbuerator to control fuel flow
its just a thought i had
i know the computer will throw a check engine light since the injectors wont be firing, but will the distributor still work without the computer pulling timing

im gonna guess no. wont the computer be telling the relay to turn on the fuel pump?...and bring fuel to the front. secondly, on an efi setup isnt the regulator on the return side of the rails, where as in a carb setup the regulator is on the entry side? i could be way off on this.
get an msd

Talk to Byron of Racesystems.com . Maybe he can cut a very custom chip to do just that.
