I have an 88 convt. ASCMclaren Mustang. (GT with a mercedes SL hideaway convt. top)
My shocks are original and dont work for s***! What kind of shocks should I get, my car is a daily driver. Not a racer, never to the track and really dont plan on it. So I dont think Im ever going to be ajusting anything.

Bilsteins...Great ride quality and awesome performance....
If you can't afford those you can buy the non-adjustable Tokico's or maybe some KYB's.....

Damn I love those ASC McLaren's. One of the best looking Fox Bodies ever.
Anyway, I agree with Black94. Bilsteins are great, but a little pricey for a non-adjustable shock/strut. Otherwise I'd get KYB's. I had those on my '66 and they're great.

I had KYB's on my 95 that were decent, I would probably go to Tokiko

I hear the Tokiko 5 Way Illumina adjustables are great.
I hear a million people say they love Billstein's, but I personally think theyre ok. Ive used them.
I am running Koni's right now.
Penske's are also pretty good.

yup, yup- Tokico 5 ways are great. Also like Koni yellows & reds. KYBs are cheap, and good stuff too.
