The intake. It is the same 5.0 otherwise. It will fit just fine. Not any better than earlier 5.0's- and has the hypereutectic pistons instead of forged.

upper intake and that means all the way out to the air filter too. These motors make a little less power then a fow motor, I believe I was told once that the cam was a little smaller too due to increased smog regulations. Other than the very few things should be an easy switch [patriot]

I have a '94 cobra shortblock that I reduced from a longblock. Things I had to change where:

*headers (duh)
*depending on your luck possibly the alternator (I offset mine by grinding on the bracket to get it to line up right)
*water pump and timing cover have a different offset to the water pump pulley and are completely incompatible with each other, 87-93 timing cover means 87-93 water pump only, same with 94-95, with a 94-95 timing cover you must use a 94-95 water pump, they won't even bolt together [patriot]
*crank pulleys are different too
*throttle body/upper intake

so basically the headers, intake, and the complete front dress (all accessories) have a different offset. I get clowned on all the time for my various efforts at getting the 94-95 accessories to live with some 87-93 parts but it's workable. Only in the last month or so do I finally have a complete 87-93 front dress setup. Forever I was running the 94-95 timing cover and water pump which made using the other 87-93 accessories an adventure.

good luck, you can PM me with any specific questions

edit: you could use a complete 94-95 style front dress in a fox that works fine I did that for a long time too, just careful with mixing and matching as the offset is different. (and nobody makes a race crank underdrive pulley with the 94-95 offset [Whoo Whooooo!] )
