Hello I have a 95 gt and I am trying to add a glowing license plate holder. I am trying to connect the power led to the tail light harness where the it connects to the back of the tail light. The wires are colored black, black, grey, orange. Which one do I splice into??? Thanks

typically, a solid black wire is meant to be a ground, and a colored wire is meant to be a power wire (depending on if you follow voltage or current on the diagrams)
get a el cheap-o meter, and hit up the 2 colored ones, and you should get about 12vdc, and for a ground, just ohm out the ground and make sure its still good (next to 0 resistance)

Thanks I will give that a try. Maybe what I was doing wrong was that I did connect the power to the orange wire , but then I took the black and just tried to ground it to the body. Maybe I should splice it into the black wire of the tail light harness.
