A guy from the BANeon group I was in had one, and actually used it on his trip down the 1/4 mile. His actual ET was 14.59, the G-Tech came up with a 14.7. Everyone I've talked to says it's generally 2 thenths slower than what you actually run. His dyno numbers were fairly close to his actual numbers too. It's a good guide, but don't think of it as a bible.

I have the original g-tech. Seems pretty acurate. I ran a 13.9 at Sac and then bought the g-tech. Ran a 13.7, 13.9 14.0. So I guess its pretty acurate. But like said before I would be boasting on the board that you broke into 12's with your g-tech...or g-tech pro. Real numbers are obtained at the track. But the g-tech is fun as hell because you can use it in any car.

The key to getting accurate numbers out of the G-Tech is to make sure you input the correct vehicle weight.

Heads up... you can buy a G-tech pro on ebaymotors right now for $49.00 it has the "buy it now" option. If you cant find it, look under "parts and accessories"/lincoln mark VIII. for some reason, they are popping up there all the time. A few of my friends have bought them from this guy. They are legit. He had cases upon cases of them.... just incase that makes it easier for you to decide whether or not to go for one.

id go with the newer one. i didnt really like the old one. by looking at the MPHs of the old one, they were usually about 4.5% too high and was within a tenth at the track.
