well,for the last few months i use mr.gasket cuz thats all i could find that'll work..problem is that mr.gasket brand keep blowing out(mr.cardboard gaskets)..i replaced 2 sets. i need a felpro number..or just a better brand to go with. remember that the bbk headers have oval ports and not square. thank you for your time.

Make sure your headers are not warped...You shouldnt be blowing gaskets that often...If money is not a problem, then Bassani make one of the best exhaust manifold gaskets....
I was blowing my Felpro gaskets a lot and my header bolts were always backing themselves out a lot too....After I put some lock-tite on my header bots and used the most expensive Mr.Gasket exhaust gaskets they sell at Vic Hubbard, I never had a problem~(sorry forgot the part number)...

I use Fel Pro #1415 gaskets. Antiseize on the bolt thread and proper torque, once when installed, and one or two more times within a week, my header bolts don't back out and the gasket doesn't blow.

im having the same problem with my felpros, both sides at almost the same time, im using mac 1 and 3/4, anyone else have any suggestions?
