First of all, I want to buy Cobra R rims 17s,,I want to install 315s tires,,Nitto555rs but I want to know if the tires will fit on 17X9s without lookig goofy, or is it better to get 17X10.5 for the rear and will I have any clearence problems with those rims?
The other question is about geting a posi rear end,,how will it handle on the turns, I've heard something that Camaros get a posi rear end when they are drag racing but the same rearend becomes semi-posi for cruising around the corners, can someone explain this for me

just run a 275/40/17 555r that will fit the 17x9 fine. Also your car does have a posi, it's not a locker, but its a clutch style posi unit. It uses a series of clutches to lock the rear end. A true locker, I wouldn't use for strett driving at all.

Camaros use a torsen rear differental, it acts like an open carrier until a wheel slips then it applys torque/ power to the wheel with the most traction. Great unit for street driving and open track racing but not recomended for drag racing
