i am puttin my bassani equal legnth shorties on and i have the drivers side on, but i cant get the damn passenger side to fit in there. Anyone have any tips or tricks to get them to fit?

Do you have all the rubberer smog hose equipment removed so you have the most room possible?

Yea i removed all of the smog tubes and the maf and plumming

Worse comes to worse, put a big piece of wood under the oil pan. Undo the motormounts and jack up the motor. You can then push the motor to the side and have plenty of room to install the headers. This is what you do when installing long tubes as well.

thats what i am thinkin i am gonna have to do. Wouldn't i just have to unbolt one side of the motor and lift it? Or you think i am gonna have to do both sides?

just unbolt one side and tilt it. that should work or wait for your 306 to be ready you cracker

If you only unbolt a motor mount on one side and try to tilt it you might tear the other motor mount out. Just unbolt both of them.

I had to unbolt a motor mount to get my driver's side in. Its the quickest way... I had a friend telling me to dis connect the steering linkage, and another tell me to remove all the brake equipment! thank god JohnB passed by and told me about the motor mount method!

thanks for the help fellas, i got them in. i unbolted both and lifted it, well actually i unbolted one side and then thought about fuckin up the other one so i unbolted it too. But thanks for the help.
