sometimes right when i start my car i hear a grinding noise. can someone help me. i have a 97 GT 5spd.

Check and make sure your starter isnt loose or any of the starter mounting bolts...

It sounds like you have a chipped tooth on your flywheel or the starter is not engaging properly....

or possibly you tried to start it real fast and then tried to start it again while the flywheel was still moving and it grinded?
