Take that string in to the parts store and then have a belt matched up to it. I read a mustang book that told me to do this on an A/C car you need a 76 inch belt. Well I tried that first and I couldn't get it to go on. I tried a 77 inch and it went on perfectly BUT, after a couple of days, the belt stretched and was touching just beneath the tensioner. So I got the 76 inch belt back and with a little help from some buddies, we got that thing on. We did end up having to unbolt the alt for a sec so we could slide the belt on. After this one stretches a bit, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to take it off/put it back on by myself w/ no problems. BTW, the belt was a Gates K060760. Or you might want to see if they have a 76.5 inch belt, part# should be K060765. That might make it a little easier. <br /> </font> </td></tr> </table></td></tr></table> <br /> <br />
