probably your brakes telling you to f**k off. Or more likely just your ABS light, which comes on when you hits the brakes real hard.

Ask questions if you have'em, anyone who thinks they're too cool, know's it all, or doesn't want to look stupid has more problems than you.

Before you get too carried away adding brake fluid, ask yourself why you need some. Unless you have a leak, the brake fluid goes down as your brakes wear. Instead of just adding brake fluid, check out your brakes and replace them if they are close to worn out. After you put new brakes on, see if you need to top up the reservoir.

Exactly!
Also, when topping off brake fluid always use a new can. And avoid fluid that comes in a plastic bottle if possible. Cans that have been opened and left sitting in the garage will absorb moisture from the air (especially so when in plastic bottles). Water in your brake fluid will lower the fluids boiling point.
This might be a good opportunity for you to flush the lines completely with brand new fluid. You might be surprised at the braking improvement a fluid change will produce. Get Ford HD DOT3 fluid from the dealer.
