Plain and simple.<br /><br />Some things, such as a fuel pressure gauge are not allowed inside the vehicle unless you are using an isolator. These are nhra rules, as well as basically saftey.<br /><br />Some believe that an electric pressure gauge is not as accurate as a mechanical. This can be true. I believe that nothing is going to give you a quick, more accurate reading that something that is ACTUALLY happening.<br /><br />The install of both types are relitively simple...and can be done in a short time. <br /><br />Personally I'd reccomend electric for you, as they are VERY close to being completely accurate. Tested and proven over the years in many different applications.<br /><br />I personally am about to install Autometer phantom gauges in the hobra...5 of them to be exact.....Air/fuel, boost, nitrous, fuel pressure, and oil pressure.<br /><br />All will be electrical.<br /><br />Another somewhat quality gauge is VDO.
