I dont think its the rear dif. cuase i just changed the fluid filled her up all the way and put in some torque lube. maybe my fuel pump??? i dont know. it sounds like an airplaine engine idleing, like a whistle slash hum. Did it do it before you chagned the fluid? If not then it's your gears.

A fuel pump will have a high pitch buzz sound(easiest to hear while idling). A rear end will have a whine(which obviously happens only when driving).

I had the same noise and thought it was my gears or my fuel pump.So i changed my fuel filter and my problem was gone.i also couln't rev past 4500 rpm,it would bog really bad.

Have you had your gears changed recently? When you changed your rear end fluid did you remove the diff. cover or have it pulled out of the fill hole?
It could be your fuel pump, fuel filter, or maybe even your wheel bearings maybe...
