I guess it depends if your running your power steering and Smog pump.. if u are then yes.. u need some kinda a/c delet kit.. I deleted my smog pump and a/c . i have the FMS a/c delet kit and and moved my Power steering up where the A/C was.

I would get the FMS kit, I think a lot of people will agree it's a cleaner looking kit.

or just save money and leave the a/c on there and run a 755k6 serpintine belt.with this belt you can bypass the powersteering and smog pump. the a/c don't really rob power since its a clutch unless you have it on i gain about 2 tenths doing this at the track.

I think it's being removed for weight saving purposes not power

I am removing it because it has never worked since I have owned the car and it really dosent matter to me to have it work. I am doing it mainly for weight savings and to unclutter the engine bay. It looks like the FMS kit is the one to go with. Thanks for the info guys!

Good Choice! you will be a lot happier with the FMS then the March, plus the FMS is how they came stock with no A/C.

I have no Idea if its the R12 or the other stuff. I would assume that it is the older crap. That is one of the other reasons why I want to take it it out. Its not worth it to me to convert it. I dont have any plans for the pump once I take it out. Do you want it? [ November 06, 2003, 09:53 AM: Message edited by: 90LX ]
