So i have a few questions for those that have done this.<br /><br />Should i move the Solenoid to the trunk as well. I have heard it done both ways. I know that if it is moved to the trunk, you don't have a hot wire running the length of the car. Which would be the better way to go.<br /><br />Should I buy a battery relocation kit from Jegs (66.95), it comes with box, mounting hardware, wiring, everything I need. I have seen a great way for a cut off switch which is mounting it in the back-up light housing. It fit perfect.I don't think you'll need to relocate the solenoid but I strongly advise using the exact same ground locations as stock. Don't be tempted to ground it to the trunk with that little strap that comes with most kits. Do it the right way. On my LX I ran a 2 gauge welding cable as my negative cable back to the block and another cable (a little smaller, can't remember the gauge) from the negative terminal to the bolt on the driver side fender near the windshield washer reservoir. You will also need a master cutoff switch if you're going to the track. Moroso makes a nice one.
