Well i have a hci combo and i only put down 277 hp and 301 tq. This seems off to me.. Is my crane 2031 cam holding me back. Its a blower cam?
Blower might take longer then expected..

Thanks for any info.

whats the rest of the combo? I have seen blower engines with really low HP before when ran N/A, maybe the blower needs to come sooner?????

If you want another 15hp out of it, retard the cam. If you want 20-25hp out of it install a B303 retarded just a bit.

I believe the 2031 and B303 are a single pattern cam if you what more performace I would use a split pattern cam, somthing like a CompCam 230/240 565/575 or 224/232 555/565 lift @ 112

When set on the correct ICL in the proper application the B is a very nice mild cam.
I believe a local 'legend' ran 112MPH N/A with the B, GT40 aluminum heads, Edelbrock RPM intake, off-road exhaust & a fairly light Foxbody.

There's a lot to be had in the right bumpstick. [Wink]
