Hi All,
I need to replace two small plastic gaskets, the two gaskets where the plastic brake booster bottle connects to the brake booster. I also like to replace the brake booster bottle. I did call the dealer but they sell the entire brake booster and not the individual parts. Any ideas where I can buy these small parts?
By the way if you are wondering why I need these parts, with the turbo exhaust right below the brake booster, it created so much heat that it expanded the gaskets and bent the bottle, so I need to replace them. Some heat shielding should take care of the turbo temperature issue but I need the gaskets.
My car is a 2000 GT
Thanks in advance

Ok, are there at least any shops in the bay area that sell used mustang parts?

Theres a place up in Sacramento, A+M auto dismantling (I think, can't find their card right now) or you could try MPS in georgia (from the mustang magazines, Mustang Parts Specialties). A+M is pretty reasonable, but might not have the part. MPS probably has the part, but they aren't cheap. More likely than not it would still be cheaper to go thru MPS than to order the whole assembly thru ford tho....
