This is for my '65. The motor is a 306 with forged pistons and rods. The compression ratio is around 10:1, but I'm not exactly sure what it is because I put 289 pistons with a 302 crank and rods. (The guy at Summit said it just upped the cr a little.) I have a Comp 280H cam. 230@.512 lift. I will be buying the assembled Edelbrock Performer RPM heads. 2.02/1.60 or 1.90/1.60?

Umm, that wasnt the question.. [Razz]

I'd go with 1.90/1.60's....You might run into valve clearance with 2.02's...I think you'll end up with more horse power with the 1.90's too...

I am going with the Performers because they have the right price. Show me a set of AFR's completely assembled for $1040 with no tax and I might change my mind.

Rob, I was thinking of going with the smaller valve to be on the safe side as well. You are not the first person to tell me that I will probably make more power (esp. low end tq.) with the smaller valve.

Go with the tfs tw heads they have 2.02s and will clear the valve reliefs.

Hey Jesse, your car will run great with the parts you listed. I would choose the smaller(still bigger than factory)1.90 intakes as well. I have seen/felt great results in two entirely different cars running that same cam, btw. Good luck

Jesse- for that price range, I would suggest you consider Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads.
