just found out the problem of what was wrong with my car. I wanted to know if the stock mass air sensor {just the chip, not the whole aluminum piece} from a 87-93 5.0, work well on a 94-95 stang 5.0. can there be any problems?any performance difference? anything? thanx

I've done some testing...... the 94/95 meter will run a bit rich on a fox body. Testing the output voltage of the two MAF's on the same car, the '94/95 MAF consistantly read higher telling the computer there is more air entering the engine than there really is.

The 94/95 MAF's also have a square flange for the air filter housing to bolt up to versus the round hose clamp mount of the '88-93 5.O's so there is a physical adaptation problem as well.

If you need a conical K&N filter to throw on if you get the 87-93 MAF let me know. I got one I'll give you. [patriot]
