any one got advice for a cam in a 347?
Eagle forged assembly
JE Inverted domes
AFR 185 heads 58cc, 75cc ex, high preas. springs
Holley systemax int.
8lbs of boost

This ones going into a 97 Ranger. [Confused]

That looks like a great cam for all out drag racing, have you used that cam? I'm curious how it idles, I'm probably looking for something slightly more streetable though. Let me know how it is though if you are using it. I may look into the NX274HR though.

My brother is using the NX274HR and he says it is an awesome cam as well. But he is running it on a 327, that is why I suggestd the NX282 for you.

im using the ford motorsports X cam wich is 224 duration and 542in/542ex 112 lobe sep. its a pretty nice cam at idle and im using it in my 347 i would say very street /daily driver friendly .

I ended up ordering the nx274hr cam because I heard that some people had problems with the bigger one over 4500 rpm. I'll be using it with scorpion 1.6 roller rockers. Hoping for the best.

Oh yeah, this is mike by the way. Who is STOAUTO?

Thanks cegan I would have jumped on that two days ago, but I already ordered the cam. Good deal though if any one is interested, I paid a lot more for mine.
