Author Topic: detonation 7.3L White Whale ¯ Member # 1848 posted                              K i posted a while back about how i had a pinging problem. Started using 91 and swapped the stock mass air in place of the gutted one i had and it helped some, but still pinged top end. Ford replaced the mass air again and all the 02 sensors, problem helped some more but it still pings like mad. I cant afford a custom tune and i dont see why a car with a cai, and a full exhaust would ping this badly.
