So I installed a white gauge cover on my 99 GT.
After installation of cover I tried to reset the needles manually as best as I could. However they're still off by few inches.
Is there an easier way to reset them back to stock locations?

I got the saaaaaaaaaaaaaaame problem. I'm planning on gettin gears and needing a speedo recalibration anyways...so I'm just gonna see if the people can fix the guages for me. I heard a good way to get them back pretty close is leave the front plastic part off and have a friend with the same kinda stang and gears drive next to you and tell you the speed and RPM. Otherwise..we're both screwed.

they had something in one of the mustand rags a while back about white-face guage installation and i seem to recall that it was very important to mark the positions of all the needles before disassembly so that the proper settings may be achieved.
the websites i found (not mustang sites) all say don't remove the needles or it will be a big pain to readjust them.
it was a long time ago so i am quite fuzzy about any details, i could even be totally wrong.

wich ones do you need to adjust i did mine on my 02GT.The speedometer and rpm have a tachometer for rpms and a speedo. all you have to do is the button to reset your tripometer hold that in and trun on you car dont let go until a menu shows up on the tripometer it has rpm's and a speedometer.for the rest you were supposed to mark it before you took them of and then put em back on
