how many lbs? do i tourqe my heads to?
they are just ported e7s and im in the middle of rebuilding my engine right now thanks in advance .chris.

Depends on the fastener that you are using. Are you using studs or torque to yield bolts? And they are new fasteners, right? Don't reuse head bolts.

good advice. and buy a chiltons. the torque sequence is *roughly* 35, 65, 75 but do *not* quote me on that. (hand tight on all first)

Top bolts shuold be TQ'ed to 75 and the lower bolts to 65. Start in the middle of the head and work you way out, slowly TQing them down in a sequence similay to what Joe said.
Its kinda hard to screw up an iron head

If your using ARP head bolts the torque is 85 lbs all around (according to ARP anyway). That would be with using 30 weight oil on the threads and washers. Don't forget to chase the threads in the block to clean them out.
