just checked the TPS on my new 70mm TB. I only get 0.55 volts at idle, and about 3 volts at WOT. Is that normal? a problem?
and, I only now looked at my exhaust leak.
BOTH bolts flew out on my #3 primary on my MAC longtubes. It has individual flanges for each primary so it was pretty decently spaced from the head. Possibly a solid 1/8" to 1/4" of air gap between the head and that primary.
incidentally I was able to get one bolt in to cinch it back in on one side, but the other side I can only go to maybe 5 ft/lbs and it just won't hold the header flush.
so I'm shopping for helicoils tomorrow, but I just wanted ideas on how much HP the exhaust leak could cause.
I had the TPS set to about 0.92 before on my 65--- for some reason I can't get it set right on my 70. I've enlarged the holes and am at maximum extension. The initial angle on the TB bellcrank needs to be changed about 30 degrees it looks like to get it right. Uggh. I disassembled one of these before and I think I'll have to break it and weld it back together to get the right initial position for a proper TPS. Uggh. unless it doesn't matter?

Major problem! Your EEC isn't even seeing WOT! No wonder your MPH is down. It needs to be at 4+ volts at WOT. I think mine is around 4.3-4.5v

You're really lucky you didn't kill the valve on that port at the track. I was cringing every time you went up to make a run!
How much power it cost? I wouldn't imagine that it killed a WHOLE lot, but I would certainly expect that it took some. That port became inefficient and the scavenging on the other ports was changed...
