lol. I didnt mean to put that there. It does have stock heads, slightly ported. Its got a 2.62 pulley. Should peak around 12-13psi. Ive seen 10 psi at 5400 RPM, but thats the highest ive revved it so far. It'll be tuned by Byron at Apex.

Personally, I wouldn't waste my time unless I had a set of decent heads to go along with the combo.

Putting all of this together and expecting alot out of it is like going to Mickey D's and thinking you're gonna get a really great burger! [Big Grin]

After the first blown head gasket, did you check the head to ensure it wasn't warped? Recreational head gasket changes suck!!
I'm pushing 10+ on my 93...and have yet to blow one. That's with the stock block and ported GT-40's. 24lb inj's, and a matching FMU.

Yeah, I got the heads decked, they were warped. I used graphite fel pro gaskets that are supposed to be really good. This time its gettin tuned before I drive it though. Im tired of changing HG's.

I agree with the 330 number, but I wouldn't be surprised if it made a bit more...... so 320-350 is my guess [patriot]

Byron is the man when it comes to tuning [worship] [worship] [worship] also his buddy named joe is also the man [worship] [worship] they tuned my car recently and they got that thing running 100% better with that combo you said you will probably realisticly see around 300-350rwhp because the main thing is the heads, the inj. are a little small for boost levels above 400 horespower too, also install that fuel pump you will need it as the boost level increases.. Byron will fix all that with a chip if you dont have one get one! it makes a big difference. Good luck with the tuning [patriot]

Throw a set of Twisted Wedges or AFRs on that puppy and it's a 400+ hp combo. With the stock heads? I agree with the 330 number. The E70s are a bit... restrictive.

He has out of the box GT40 heads, which flow less then even decently ported stock heads, a stock cobra cam, a GT40 intake, and 10psi.

Thanks for your input!!

Your should see way more than 12psi @ 5800rpm with the 2.62 pulley". You must be having MAJOR belt-slip.

Your combo should make atleast 350+rwhp with the pulley tightened belt. With enough octane to handle a REAL tune it should make over 400rwhp if the fuel system is adequate, which the 30# injectors are not.

I personally would not run that pulley on 91 octane especially with the belt tightned properly.

You should be good for ~330rwhp with a 3.15" pulley and probably with the stock 3.33" pulley also.

No, it was making 10 psi at 5400 RPM with alot of valve float. Im gettin new springs so it should be all good. Bill said he thought it would make over 400rwhp, we'll see though. I only expected ~350, so ill be VERY happy if it does.
