I know its a shitty chip but its what I have right now and will probobly not replace it for a while since I will be working on my 90 but who around the bay area can retune these chips, i called APEX, Mustang Ranch in S.J. and no one seems to know they all want me to buy there chip, anyone know of a place?

Its cheaper to go with them then get it retuned. I got a 00 gt chip and i needed it retuned for my 01, 250 for the reprogram and 150 for anything custom aka non stock. RIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFF

I don't know if they can be reburned. All they really do on the pre 94 cars is bump timing a bit. That can be done with a timing light. I had one about 8 or 9 years ago and sold it since it really didn't seem to be doing anything for me. [ July 22, 2003, 07:45 PM: Message edited by: Sean90GT ]

This chip is for my 99 and it was intalled with my 373 gears, so i guess it would cost about the same to have a new one put on, but 175.00 hour for the dyno OUCH

Mention the cafords discount, I think it is $125/hr for tuning, and it is like $30 off for the chip. Shoot bill from Apex a PM.

No, apex is 180 per hour I think. -10 percent for the cafords discount.
