i wrecked my stang 89 foxgt few weeks ago due to a idiot not paying attention to traffic pulling a illegal u-turn in front of me.my lawyer is laging and i need transportation..
okay i found a beater locally near my house for $800 straight up with smog and reg. 88chevy nova (same as toyota corrola) its in decent shape with 153k miles new tires, real clean interior, good paint gray on gray..5spd 4 banger. But, the owner recently bought it at a police auction? he drove it about 2,000miles on 4th of july weekend with no probs what so ever.. he has like 5 cars in his little back yard and needs to move some cars out...this one look to be best of the bunch.. i forget the engine model..i do know it takes a PH 2951 oil filter...early fi toyota 4 banger ..no oil,or trans leaks..sounds solid too. SHOULD i BUY IT??? need a second, third opinion
thanks people

show up with cash to make him go down. I would try to pay around $500 or less if possible. Off topic but did you take all the good parts off the mustang before they took it?

can't you just rent a car and have the other persons insurance pay for it?

nevermind that.i'm still waiting to hear from my lawyer.....my insurance company said the collision center told them the car is totaled.
my lawyer is gonna try to get me $7,000.. settlement
i don't know if i can get the car right now.. more n likely i'm gonna keep the parts and buy a rolling chassis later or use it on a 64 ranchero project..i love those little trucks..look bad ass when slammed..
WHAT ABouT THE BEATER i was talking about?
i'll try to low ball him ,but he seems firm on the price.. honestly it seem solid-reliable

How much does your lawyer get our of your settlement?
If/when you're looking for a stang I'm thinking about selling mine. Check it out http://www.geocities.com/tm88gt/ [ July 18, 2003, 08:11 PM: Message edited by: TM88GT ]
