Dispite what some people may tell You, will not gain any power by adding performance wires. I have had my 87 GT since new and it has all ways been run with Ford Motorcraft plug wires with out any problems. Even when they've accidentally come in contact with the headers.<br /><br />I did have a set burn up last year though, it was very strange. 2 wires just disintegrated, with the boots still on the plugs. The wire material turned into a fine powder for several inches of length, no sign of it being heat damage. Possibly electrical? You simply slip off the boot with a little WD-40, cut off the "bad" section, and crip on the connector again.
