This might be a dumb question but I see people posting about putting colder spark plugs and changing the timming... is this also necesary for and 01 GT?? I have an 01 GT with a 125 wet shot.

Yes, drop the heat range down one step. Timing, however, is non adjustable on your car unless you specifically bought a timing adjuster.

I would get a timing adjuster for your car so you can adjust the timing before you run the nitrous.

Thats probably not necessary unless you have other extensive modifications. People run 125 shots on those cars with stock timing with no problems.

this is probably another dumb question but what would be the advantage of changing the plugs or adjusting my timing? Would anything happen if i run the 125 shot with the stock plugs? I really dont know much about cars so im asking u guys... what does adjusting the timing do?

Its all a matter of safety. Obviously, burning holes in your pistons isnt the purpose of having nitrous. If you dont do certain things, serious damgage can occur.
