I am installing a adjustable clutch cable and firewall adjuster. I have heard of some people complaining about the replacment quadrent? Should I keep the plastic? I would think its crap. Or just replace everything with the new stuff? thanks Casey
Fast help would be good I am doing it right now

throw the old quad in the garbage and put the new aluminum one in. It might seem like its not fitting exactly right, but its still way better than the stock one, plus it will never break.

Yeah, the aluminum quadrant is a key part. Installing an adjustable cable will be pointless with the stock quadrant because the stocker will just "adjust" around your adjustable cable.
