Glasspacks are as common in Old School Lowriders as K&N filters are in 5.0 mustangs.
Next time you see a custom 58-69 Impala on Daytons, 9 times out of 10 I bet they have glasspacks Luke

My friends dad had glass packs on his old Mustang when he was young and when they bought the 89 GT he took it to a muffler place and had them install glasspacks on it. The muffler guy said he had never seen this done before and told my friends dad that it might sound really bad with the cats and offered to take them back off for free if he didn't like them. My dad's friend drove his Mustang home and when he got home he HATED the noise so he took it back the next day and returned it to stock. He said it was the worst noise hes ever heard a car make.

LOL... Me and Nate once seen a 99+ stang with them out in Antioch. I here it coming from a block or 2 away and look up to see what kind of POS it would be and all I seen in sight was a new Silver stang. It was pretty damn funny!
