I have a '65 stang that i am currently putting together I have an 8.8 rearend off an '88 GT will the rearend fit cause i know 65-66 have a shorter wheel base then the 67 up models.

Is there a reason why you are not going with a 9in besides the point that you already have the 8.8.
I would really suggest going with an 9, it is a lot stronger than the 8.8
