Where is a good place that installs gears in Northern california.And what is the average price for gears and installation.

Rearend Specialties in Santa Clara. I've had 2 sets done here and am very pleased everytime.
They charge $225 assuming nothing else needs to be done.

anywhere near sac, id say 'river city diferential'
they did my rear.. both tires spin, and it makes no noise.
