Ok, My car will grip in first most the time if the tires are warm....when it's cold it will spin. I'm now getting heads/cam installed.....A few people said i wouldn't have traction in second from a roll just like shifted easy into second then flooring it.....I gotta have traction in at least second so tell me what you think........I could either stay the way i am and hope i grip in second or buy drag radials in 275 or firehawk sz50 ep's which I need in the rain anyways or stick with my CURRENT 245's (i got 9inch rims now)......PS: Also I enjoy cornering ........

once you start makin power, its gonna be hard to get your car to stick. With my first car, i couldnt stick through the first 2 gears at all. If you go with a set of drag radials, that will help in a straight line, but i wouldnt think so much in a cornering. The best way to get your car goin though the corners faster is to get a crazy suspension set up, and a good driving school of course. This was one of the reasons i just went to an AWD car.

Nitto drag radials will handle great in the corners if properly inflated. The autocross guys used them before Nitto came out with a dedicated autocross tire

Dude, if you have 9" wide wheels then you definately need to step up to a soft compound 275, maybe 285....If you want traction I recommend some control arms (stock control arms SUCK)..
