I bent a valve a little while ago and got some bairly used stock heads from a guy at work. While im in there i was going to put the e303 cam in, the guy at Vic Hubbard said that i didnt need to change my valve springs or pushrods. Does anyone disagree? And do 1.6 or 1.7 rockers really help? and if they do, do i have to modify anything else to my engine? thanks

e cam with 1.7's i think will be to much for the stock springs, 1.6's will help just by reducing friction, but with stock heads u could spend ur money else where and get more performance

You'll be better off sticking in a 2030/2031 cam with the stock heads... and yes you'll need to change your springs with that cam
