Author Topic: 1998 Ford Expedition Mods smokinmaro ¯ Member # 2452 posted                              My family just picked up a 1998 Ford Expedition. This one is has the 5.4 Liter(@327 cubic inch) engine. My mom says that she wants more power for freeway merging and to get better gas mileage. There is also going with an aftermarket TB, but that TB isnt where the restriction is, it is in the elbow after the TB, so its kind of worthless to do so. Ended up with 365rwhp and 400rwlb.ft. torque! And it drives like a stock truck. There was a lot of R&D to get the Aftercooler to fit (originally designed for an LT1 Camaro), but it was obviously worth it!
