Get two sets fo FelPro 1415's. Put a thin layer of black RTV between two. Press under some books or boxes overnight. Install and never worry about leaks (as long as your bolts don't back out.)

I ordered a copper set for $30 from summit and have reused them about five times at least and they work great.

We've found nothing better than Bassani's gaskets, which are stainless steel with graphite sealing inserts. The graphite is virtually impervious to heat, and it conforms to any imperfections in the head and header, thus sealing completely. When it comes time to reuse the gaskets, you simply buy new inserts, which is very cost-effective. I have these in stock for 5.0s and 4.6 SOHC! Call, PM, or email for pricing.

I just put the Bassani's on my 5.0 along with the ford motor sport headers and apex's lock kit and they work great. The only thing wrong with the Bassani's is I wanted to hang them on the wall were you could see them not hide them on the car. They look sweet

I mean I have removed and installed my headers at least five times and have the same gaskets. Usually the felpro will get torn up and you wont be able to re use them as much, just my opinion.

Whatever you do don't use BBK header gaskets that come with your headers. I learned that one the hard way
Needless to say about 5% of the damn fucker wouldn't come off of the header after 2+ hours of scraping so in order to go to knotts we just put another gasket on. It's leaking very very minor now and youc an't really hear it so when I'm bored or something I'll take the fuckign header off and clean it then

Dont feel bad!..BBK suck!!...That shit happened to me too..
I'm running the best Mr.Gaskets you can buy for a 302...I cant remember which ones they are though, but they were like $35....I used the best Felpro ones but the Header bolts kept comming out and blowing the Felpro gaskets with them, so I tried the Mr Gaskets.....I have had the Mr gaskets on for over a year with no problems...

I felt the same way when I installed them on my car!
I have had them off once. I had to replace the graphite inserts and that's it.
