My friend has a 87 GT with LX tail lights and there kind of dull, what can he use to polish them so they can look shiny. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Use a paste style wax or polish and then wipe them clean with some WD-40.

polish the insides, then spray the insides with a clear-coat, then take the reflective housings and spray them black and presto...smoked LX lights!
