I dont' know if you can get this stuff done by this weekend, but heres a couple popular reductions
-remove back seats -replace/lightened flywheel -lighter rims -carbon fiber hood -impact bars in doors -all floor mats -remove front sway bar -remove passenger seat. -go on diet

jeff doesnt need to go on a diet, he cant way more that my right leg, u skinny bastard
id ditch ur gas tank and get a fuel cell, not much weight savings when empty, but u dont drive ur car long distances anyway, and ur gonna need a inline pump sooner or later, so might as well just do it now
oh yeah, jeff, u owe me a six pack for this weekend

remove your front and rear bumpers, not the covers but the actual supports under neath. Support bars in the doors are worth another 23 pds. Plastic wheel wells in front fenders. Put racing buckets in the car, some are cheap and they all way less than stock seats.

7 lbs by removing the 'dog bone' under the differential. Up to 6 lbs off the front end by draining your washer fluid 14 lbs from removing the padding under the hatch's carpet.

Ive got a fiberglass cowl hood already, all carpet and padding removed from trunk, how much weight do I save by removing the rear seat?, have lightened flywheel, nervous about removing bumpers and door supports( car is still driven on the street, how much weight are we talking? ), If I remove the front sway bar, wont around down streetability suffer?, how much weight does the plastic infenders save, they keep engine pretty , what is the purpose of the dog bone, prevent pumpkin damage? I want to keep fog lights ( like the look ), and AFM powerpipe should be all the induction I need! Any other hints? Thanks everyone!

The center arm rest. There is a factory delete cover plate you can buy. I believe www.mustangparts.com sells them. Light weight rims. Light weight front seats.
Basicly, you need to look at every part and ask yourself two questions:
A) Can I live with out this part on my car?
B) Can I replace this part with a light wait equivilant?

Rear seats taken out for adds for rear seat delete kids say 34lbs off stock weight. I dont know if that includes the rear seat delete kit otherwise it would be more like 40ish lbs.

removing the rear seatsand interior is cool on slicks but its not cool with street tires. spin like crazy. try removing weight in front more than any thing. removing the front sway bar is a few pounds and helps transfer weight to the rear on the car. but going 70 on the freeway is kinda like riding in a boat.

Remove the Spare Tire and Tire Iron when your AT the races. And Siphon out the Gas too. You can run on a low tank. Run it on 2 gallons of gas because added gallons means Extra Liquid Weight. Then put the feul back in when you head home.
