what gears should i get for a 99 cobra everyone says 4:10 but how off will my mph be even with a 23 tooth installed likely will buy from www.gefracing.com help? [Eek!]

you have to buy an electronic speedo calibrator for your car, it will work with any gear. i would get 4.10's

4.10's or at least 3.90's. You really won't see much of a difference if you get 3.73's since you already have 3.55's. I have the 4.10's and love very second of them. I do nothing but go 80mph on the freeway and still get 17MPG. If you want to be fast get the 4.10's, if you want something different get the 3.90's [burnout]

4.10's are as steep as you can go with the IRS rear end in the '99+ cobras.... or else 4.30's would be an ideal choice.

thanks guys will likely go with 4:10 but if you guys can tell me more about the piece i need for the proper speedo reading how much and is it on gefracing.com if not where can i get it would appreciate the help

at least 4.10's. there are two ways to fix your speedo. first, buy a speedcal from dallas mustang or brothers, plug it in and go. not too hard. the other way is to have a chip burned for the car. the chip can correct for any mods you have done plus recal your speedo, turn on your fans at a lower temp, tune for more power if you run high octane gas, change your shift points and shift firmness if you had an auto, etc, etc. if your not going to do other mods get the speedcal. if you plan to do more in the future get the chip. ray
